Eagle Watching
We went eagle watching today up in Grafton, IL. Unfortunately, the eagles didn't cooperate and we didn't see any. Hence, no pictures of soaring bald eagles. We did have a fun drive back, though. We took the Brussels Ferry across the Mississippi and then the Golden Eagle ferry across the Missouri. The roads to the Golden Eagle are nice, hilly, country two lanes where death is around every corner. I love those. We went eagle watching because ice and snow covered I-55 past Bloomington and we weren't able to make it to Chicago for dual 80th birthday celebrations. Luckily, Emma's fever finally subsided yesterday. She has had a fever on and off for the past week. Strep + influenza = one bad time.
